Joan held the position of President of "Women Of The Year Lunch." for 5 years. 2005 saw the 50th anniversary of WOY. The Lunch was founded by Tony Lothian OBE, to celebrate women`s achievements and raise funds for charity. The Board of Directors of Women of the Year Lunch and Assembly represent 40 categories of work and influence and it is they who nominate representatives in their own field.
